There are some rules you can follow on efficient web designing.
You should always have the following pages like index which is the home page, feedback page, contact us page, and about us page. The home page should have the links to all the pages that the visitor needs to navigate. Likewise the link to home page should be provided on all individual pages.
The web site design should be clean and clutter free and should be crowded with too many links and should be well organized. Try to avoid too much of flashy content in your pages.
Your website should load faster and for that you should try to lessen the amount of images on your individual pages. Excessive graphics or animations should only make your visitors to go away quickly than making them explore your sites, hence try to avoid such pages unless absolutely necessary.
The text for your web pages should be in readable. It is always better to have a dark font with white or lighter background rather than lighter fonts and darker background.
When filling your website with texts, try to avoid spelling and grammar errors and try to optimize it well so as to the alignment of the text is good to read.
