Search Engine Friendly Pages Through Web Designing
What is the use of having a website if there is not enough visitors to use. As many visits to a particular site comes from major search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc, it has become mandatory to design sites which is search engine friendly.
Most of the search engines use a specialized program known as robots or crawlers to let it browse through your pages. This is how the search engines read your website and use it while people search for a specific term at their search engine.
It is always advisable to avoid frames if you want your site to be indexed by these search engines quickly. There is a great chance that your site will be ignored if you have frames in it. It will also make the visitors to bookmark your site if you use frames in your web pages.
Try to avoid using flash or images or animations if you want to present the reader information, as search engines will ignore the images or animations and hence there will be a chance of visitors missing your site.
Meta tags should be used appropriately as the robots of the search engine should get an overview of what the page is all about. Try to use CSS for your pages rather than using HTML tags at many places.
